CAPNEMO Little Learners Academy Cook (Full-time)-Kirksville
Summary
Responsible for planning and organization while purchasing, preparing, dating, labeling, and storing foods in the assigned center. Operations and management skills with the flow of tasks in the kitchen and utilization of other staff. Other essential duties as demanded per Job Description and maintenance of professionalism at all times. The employee must be able to perform each essential duty adequately per the performance evaluation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Experience Requirements
At a minimum, a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Must have reliable transportation and meet Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements. Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification. Knowledge of acceptable food storage, food preparation, and food service practices. Must have or pass the ServeSafe Certification required in Adair County, or equivalent in other areas. Must obtain Food Allergen certification. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening. Provide proof of yearly physical and TB risk assessment.
