Operational Support & Administration:
+ Maintain accurate personnel files and confidential HR records.
+ Process new hire paperwork, terminations, and employee status changes.
+ Assist with the administration of benefits programs, payroll, and leave requests.
+ Manage and administer employee benefits, including open enrollment and claims resolution.
+ Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends.
+ Employee Engagement, Relations & Compliance:
+ Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
+ Coordinate logistics for plant-wide events and activities with each month's event sponsor.
+ Assist in communicating details of events to all employees.
+ Gather employee feedback on event effectiveness through simple surveys.
+ Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
+ Conduct investigations into employee complaints.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
