This is an on-call position – hours will vary depending on weather events. The hourly rate is dependent on area of operation and seasons plowing, with an additional $1 per hour for night work (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.).

Location(s): Perryville or Ste. Genevieve

*This position is eligible for a temporary emergency operations adjustment of additional $3 per hour, when handling winter/emergency operations activities.

EMERGENCY WAGE RATES:

- 1st Season - $20.00
- 2nd-3rd Season - $21.11
- 4th Season - $22.37

Responsibilities

Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic. Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds. Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
