Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (O’Fallon, MO)
Position Duties: Own software delivery tasks (code development, unit test, deployment) at an application/software component level. Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders. Troubleshoot and refactor existing code. Adopt new languages and architecture patterns needed for the work. Influence the decisions made by the team. Assist peers and less experienced members. Demonstrate active learning and sharing of software practices via Guild/Engineering community. Assist in maintaining gold-standards and technical documentation of APIs and services being delivered.
Job Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, Project Engineer, Software Developer or related. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: Java; Design patterns; Debugging; Axon (Kafka); Splunk; Dynatrace. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
