Job Summary:
Administer nursing care in a clinic setting under the supervision of Clinic Director and/or other medical supervisor. Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge in the clinic. Provides professional nursing care for Rural Health Clinic patients following established standards and practices. Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient’s condition. Provides basic medical care, may be responsible for patient triage.
Responsibilities
Primary position will be as an orthopedic RN caring for patients with musculoskeletal system disorders, including bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons. Evaluating mobility, strength, skin integrity neurovascular status and pain levels. Once trained will potentially work with orthopedic surgeons in a surgery setting.
Experience Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Minimum requirement of completion and graduation from approved RN educational program.
Requires a state license to practice
