WWT and Softchoice are unifying the customer experience across both organizations, and the eCommerce Lighthouse project is where that work starts: one coherent way for customers to browse, quote, buy, and manage their technology. The model built here will extend to every type of customer interaction that follows.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You'll work day-to-day with product management and engineering to define requirements, shape the solution as it's built, and test that what ships actually works for customers. You will build knowledge of both WWT and Softchoice systems and processes, working closely with both teams so the requirements reflect how each business actually operates and the solution holds up against real customer scenarios on both sides.
Key Responsibilities
+ Partner with product management to translate product direction into clear, buildable requirements - epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering can act on without guesswork.
+ Elicit requirements from business stakeholders across both WWT and Softchoice and reconcile them into a single set of decisions - escalating conflicts with a recommendation, not just a question.
+ Document business rules, process flows, and data requirements for quoting, ordering, pricing, catalog, entitlements, and renewals at the level of detail the build requires.
+ Represent the business in scope and prioritization discussions - what's a hard constraint, what's a preference, and what breaks if we get it wrong.
+ Analyze and document business needs and proposed solutions by working closely with a product owner, architect, and stakeholders from both organizations.
Solution Delivery
+ Work alongside the development team throughout the sprint: writing and refining stories, answering questions in real time, reviewing work in progress, and adjusting requirements as the solution takes shape.
+ Lead efforts from kickoff to delivery - coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful, on-schedule delivery.
+ Participate in design and technical discussions, evaluating proposed approaches against business needs and customer impact.
+ Maintain the backlog with product management - grooming, sequencing, and keeping requirements current as decisions change.
Testing & Validation
+ Write and execute test cases and scenarios derived from the requirements you defined, including edge cases drawn from real business situations.
+ Write, maintain, and conduct comprehensive functional and regression test plans; support the identification and resolution of issues or defects found during testing.
+ Lead UAT: recruit and coordinate business testers, manage the test cycle, triage defects, and drive them to resolution with the development team.
+ Validate releases before and after launch, confirming the solution works end-to-end for actual customer workflows - not just against the spec.
Ongoing Support & Team Contribution
+ Offer ongoing support and consultation on functional and technical issues, and monitor support trends so recurring problems can be addressed proactively.
+ Provide guidance and support to other analysts, helping them develop their skills and navigate technical challenges; share knowledge and best practices to improve overall team competency.
+ Assist in creating analytics dashboards that help the product organization make informed decisions.
+ Continuously build your understanding of both WWT's and Softchoice's business and technical processes to effectively support the evolution of the platform.
Beyond eCommerce
+ Map the broader customer journey and build the requirements foundation for extending unification into service, support, renewals, and account management.
Qualifications
+ 5+ years of related business analysis experience.
+ Genuine curiosity about how a technology solution provider and a partner reseller business actually operate, since you'll need to build working expertise in both to write requirements that hold up in the real world.
+ Experience with query languages and data analysis; familiarity with SQL, MongoDB querying, Amplitude, Splunk, and/or Figma is helpful.
+ Systems analysis: ability to analyze and understand complex IT systems, applications, and processes across two organizations' tech stacks.
+ Requirements gathering: skill in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications engineering can build from.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of proposing effective, workable solutions.
+ Process improvement: ability to identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements or optimizations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and ...
