We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff/Sr Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening month-end processes, and partnering with internal teams to ensure reliable reporting. The role offers an opportunity to contribute across core accounting functions while helping keep financial data organized, timely, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and record journal entries to support routine accounting activity and month-end close requirements.

- Maintain the general ledger by reviewing transactions, correcting discrepancies, and ensuring financial data is properly classified.

- Complete account reconciliations on a regular basis and investigate variances to keep balances accurate and fully supported.

- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by organizing schedules and meeting reporting deadlines.

- Use Microsoft Excel to analyze financial information, track account activity, and develop supporting workpapers.

- Partner with colleagues across departments to gather documentation, resolve accounting questions, and improve reporting accuracy.

- Review financial records for completeness and compliance with internal accounting standards and established procedures.

Requirements - At least 3 years of accounting experience in a staff accountant, senior accountant, or similar role.

- Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and working within a general ledger environment.

- Strong background in account reconciliations with the ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize data and perform financial analysis.

- Solid understanding of core accounting principles and month-end close activities.

- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
