As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Earth City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and credentials, managing visitor access, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and receiving areas; inspect identification and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.

+ Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
