As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access procedures.

+ Document patrols, incidents, observations, and relevant activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Hospital-required vaccinations are required.

+ Ability to work in and around a hospital morgue is required.

+ Ability to restrain individuals is required.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
