Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation, and making adjustments, as necessary. Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems. Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Record details of repairs made and parts used. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Clean and lubricate parts. Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding equipment, grinders, or saws.Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools. Tune or overhaul engines. Fabricate new metal parts, using drill presses, engine lathes, welders, and other machine tools. Repair bent or torn sheet metal. Calculate bills according to the record of repairs made, labor time, and parts used. Install and repair agricultural irrigation, plumbing, and sprinkler systems. Drive trucks or farm vehicles to the local store for tools, supplies, or needed materials for repair, testing, operation, and making adjustments, as necessary. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required. Employer guarantees to offer employment for a minimum of 3/4 of the workdays of the total specified period beginning with the workers first day, free housing provided to workers recruited from beyond the commuting area, transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier.

The employer will make all deductions required by law, including federal, state, and local income taxes (if applicable), and court-ordered deductions such as, but not limited to, child support or garnishments. Additional deductions may include stop-payment or check replacement fees, repayment of overpaid wages, and any other deductions authorized by the worker in writing. The employer will also make voluntary deductions authorized in writing in accordance with state law by the worker and may include, but are not limited to, income tax withholding for H-2A workers upon request, retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, loan repayments, cash advances, long-distance telephone charges, data plan costs, and services like internet or cable.

Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dishwashing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services). For the entire duration of the work contract, transportation from the housing location to the work site and back each day will be provided at no cost to the worker. The Employer will provide 1 vehicle: ( 2014 Dodge Caravan Seats: 7) for the worker to use for transportation to the worksite, back home from the worksite, or to go to the store. The worker will drive themselves to work and back home at the hours specified on the form ETA 790A Section A, Item 7.a and 7.b unless otherwise directed. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Daily transportation will be available to workers that do not reside in employer-provided housing at no cost to the worker.

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English.
