About the Job

Design and implement reliable electrical power, automation, and process control systems that improve plant performance, safety, and operational efficiency in support of capital projects.

+ Lead electrical and process control projects from concept through startup and commissioning.

+ Develop and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and cost-benefit analyses.

+ Design, program, and optimize industrial control and automation systems.

+ Collaborate with Process Engineers to improve process performance and control strategies.

+ Evaluate, specify, and implement instrumentation and control technologies.

+ Support power distribution projects, including system studies and capacity assessments.

+ Coordinate installation activities with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.

+ Maintain and update electrical drawings, standards, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

+ 5 to 10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably within industrial manufacturing, process controls, or automation environments.

+ Experience managing engineering or capital improvement projects.

+ Experience with electrical system design, industrial controls, and PLC/HMI programming.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.

+ Knowledge of Rockwell Automation hardware and software platforms.

+ Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols.

+ Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware software applications.

+ Computer-aided drafting (CAD) skills.

+ Knowledge of power distribution system analysis, including energy flow, arc flash, and capacity studies.

+ Strong presentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

+ Ability to develop and implement process control strategies and instrumentation standards.
