Maintains the following equipment: All bag line equipment, augers, legs, mixers, seed and grain cleaning and conveying equipment.
All pesticide impregnating equipment/pumps.
Services of front- end loaders, forklifts, air compressors and pneumatic valves.
Pre-shift inspections on all machines.
Maintain the Filters on Dust Collection System.
Issues written purchase requests for all the parts and maintenance supplies.
Perform electrical, plumbing, lube and construction activities as needed throughout the facility.
Understanding of the department budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or GED.
Basic math skills required.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
Must be able to consistently be able to sit, stand and walk throughout the shift depending on the activity which is being performed.
The presence of airborne dust may require the use of a dust mask respirator depending on the type of product being transported. A dust mask might be required following a fit test.
Must wear all personal protective equipment to safely perform maintenance duties.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
