Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will work with steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel to fabricate high-quality products while utilizing your welding expertise, blueprint-reading skills, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

+ Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

+ Perform MIG welding on steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel components.

+ Produce clean, accurate welds that meet quality standards and specifications.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production drawings.

+ Adjust welding equipment as needed to maintain quality and consistency.

+ Fabricate products with and without fixtures using various hand and power tools.

+ Verify completed work meets print requirements and customer specifications.

+ Communicate production concerns and quality issues professionally with supervisors and team members.

+ Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

+ Support additional production needs as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills

+ MIG welding experience.

+ Experience welding galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, tolerances, and quality specifications.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

+ Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

+ Basic math skills and measurement knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience.

+ Ability to accurately read tape measurements, including fractions and decimals.

Work Environment

This position is located in a manufacturing facility where temperatures may vary throughout the year and production equipment creates a moderate-to-loud work environment. Second and third shift opportunities are available and include shift differential pay.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
