What You'll Do

As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll be responsible for building custom structural assemblies from start to finish while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel components.

+ Fabricate custom industrial work platforms, mezzanines, ladder systems, stairs, and access structures.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and project specifications.

+ Fit, align, and assemble structural components to precise dimensions.

+ Weld material ranging from 1/4" to 3/8" thickness while maintaining proper weld size and appearance.

+ Use fabrication tools and equipment to cut, grind, clean, burn, prep, and fit materials.

+ Measure and lay out assemblies with a high degree of accuracy.

+ Ensure all completed work meets structural, dimensional, and quality requirements.

+ Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to established production schedules.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

+ Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experience.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience welding aluminum.

+ Strong fabrication Expericnce in a manufacturing or custom shop environment.

+ Experience MIG welding steel and aluminum.

+ Ability to consistently perform horizontal and vertical welds.

+ Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings.

+ Ability to independently fit and assemble structural components.

+ Strong measuring, layout, and troubleshooting skills.

+ Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

+ TIG welding experience on aluminum and stainless steel.

+ Experience building structural assemblies or custom fabrication projects.

+ Experience in industrial equipment, platforms, stairs, railings, mezzanines, or structural steel fabrication.

+ Ability to work from prints with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $72000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
