Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of food service and infection control practices.
- Demonstrated patience and ability to relate positively with residents and team members.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assisted living or healthcare dietary services.
- Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe).
- Familiarity with special dietary needs such as diabetic or low-sodium diets.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of nutrition and dietary guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary plans and safety standards.
- Follow detailed oral and written instructions to ensure compliance with food safety and infection control protocols.
- Deliver meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner, accommodating individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils to prevent contamination.
